They call it harvest now, decrypt later.

    The Ascent

    One guy on a rooftop decided not to wait. He looked up and kept going: through the storm, past the blue line of the atmosphere, out where the particles stop deciding what they are. He came back as a probability cloud with three orbits around his head and a star where his thoughts used to be.

  3. Ch. 03

    The Lattice Vault

    Up there he learned the one kind of math that even quantum computers choke on: lattices, which means finding the closest point in a grid with hundreds of dimensions. In 2024 NIST made it official, with ML-KEM and ML-DSA standardized as post-quantum crypto. He'd already built a vault out of it.

  4. Ch. 04

    The Guard

    Now he stands at the door of the Quantum-Resistant Bank. His balance is ∞ and 0 until observed. Interest is paid in vibes. The only thing he can't defend against is you not holding.
